I know its so early, but thank you for this present and the card, really like it!! and since my birthday is still two weeks later so I wont open the Marzipan until 17th March, but I'm sure it must be so delicious like your last sweets :)

thank you so much for your Christmas present. It is surprised me!
tonight I was back home with bad mood, but then I saw your package. You are really so a nice person :) You made my day tonight. 

thank you so much for your letter. and I like the blue envelope. :) 
thank you so much for the great talking along 2011. 
You brought me to many things I hadn't think before. Thanks for give me some advice and thanks for asking me million questions about cultures and things. 


I have try some, and it tastes REALLY GOOD!!! 
I owe you, please remind me. 

Tonight, behind my immortal papers, these presents really bring me to the joy!!
I feel I was back at Christmas day again!

**oh ya, some of them were melted, but its still good :))

Satu novel, satu kartupos, satu buku, semua dari Budapest

Siapa lagi kalau bukan teman pena dari Hungaria itu yang memberikan semua ini kepada saya?

Sepulang latihan, saya sangat lelah, tiba-tiba di meja saya ada sebuah bungkusan putih besar.
"Ah, saya tahu nih siapa yang mengirim bungkusan ini," kata saya dalam hati. Hahaha, siapa lagi coba yang mau berbaik hati mengirimkan saya hadiah dari luar negeri?
Otomatis, rasa lelah itu hilang seketika. :DDD


Lho kok bungkusannya besar dan tebal ya? kata Roland dia hanya mengirim satu novel saja, tapi kok setelah saya raba-raba ada sekitar dua buku sih??

Setelah dibuka, isinya memang ada dua buku.

Pertama, adalah sebuah novel klasik karya penulis terkenal dari Hungaria.
Kenapa Roland dapat mengirimkan saya buku ini?
Sebenarnya sih ini berawal dari sebuah pembicaraan tentang sastra, yang kemudian merambah ke dunia sastra masing-masing negara. Saya memperkenalkan perkembangan sastra Indonesia (karena saya belajar di bidang ini), dan dia memperkenalkan sastra negaranya.

Melalui surat elektronik, Roland memberikan 8 karya sastra kanon yang terbaik menurutnya. Dari 8 rekomendasi ini, dia menyuruh saya untuk memilih satu. Akhirnya, karena saya bingung, ada tiga novel yang bagus, saya pilih tiga judul. Saya biarkan Roland memilihkan salah satu dari ketiga itu, yang mana yang halamannya paling sedikit namun ceritanya juga bagus.

Saya pikir Roland akan mengirimkan novel itu dalam bentuk PDF, ternyata saya salah tangkap, dia mengirimkannya melalui POS!!! oh my God!! baik sekali orang ini!!

Setelah menunggu sekitar 10 hari, akhirnya saya dapat mengetahui pilihan Roland. Yaitu sebuah buku berjudul "Relation", karya Zsigmond Moricz. Penasaran dengan sinopsisnya, bisa lihat di sini.
Di dalam novel ini, ternyata terselip selembar kartupos bergambar si pengarang. Lihat gambar di bawah ini.
Kesannya galak ya? hahaha, kalau kalian mau tau lebih banyak tentang dia, bisa baca di sini.

Buku kedua tentang, yah kalian bisa baca sendiri lah dari judulnya. Pasti sudah ketebak dong isinya tentang apa? heheheh :))

Magyar Kartya dari Hungaria

Pertanyaan yang selalu saya ucapkan begitu kembali dari kampus adalah "Ada kartupos nggak buat aku?"

Kali ini jawabannya, "Ada, tapi bayar Rp3000"
Saya bingung. Ternyata setelah saya lihat, inilah kirimannya:

Apakah ini? Well, ini memang bukan kartupos. Sekilas nampak seperti kartu remi. memang benar. Ini adalah Magyar Kartya. Kartu khas Hungaria.
Siapakah pengirimnya? Hmm, seorang teman bernama Roland yang tinggal di Budapest.
Kenapa dia mengirimkan ini untuk saya? hahaha, sebenarnya saat kami sedang berdiskusi kecil, tiba-tiba topik kami membahas seputar permainan tradisional. Dia memperkenalkan saya dengan jenis kartu yang khas dari negaranya. Berhubung saya tidak pernah tahu seperti apa kartunya, dengan berbaik hati dan berlapang dada, Roland mengirimkan kartu ini secara cuma-cuma.
Tentu, saya sebagai kolektor barang-barang kiriman Luar Negeri segera riang gembira bukan kepalang. Yah, kapan lagi gitu punya teman yang berbaik hati mau repot-repot ngirimin barang buat saya secara cuma-cuma?

Sekarang, masalahnya adalah...
bagaimana ini cara mainnya kartu ini?? ada yang tahu?

my first package from Budapest, Hungary

A package from Hungary? Oooh, please do not think about my last date with Hungarian guy, you must be wrong. It is not from him, since he is now in another land (or hell, whatever!!)
yeay, today I was soooooo happy. I got 24 postcards from 3 of my friends. First from Roland, second from Jerome, and third from Bayu.

Well, this package I received from my Hungarian friend, his name is Hell Roland, I know him from interpals.net. I was surprised that he sent we two books and 3 postcards. It was nice of him :))
these are my first postcards from Hungary.
I thought we just did postcard exchange but he sent me more than a postcard.

Here are the list of the package:

1. Booklet about Budapest, with 108 photos on it.


2. Booklet Opera House in Budapest.


Those two booklets are magnificent, with its pictures, its story, etc, etc. arggh!! reading these booklets like an injection to my passion for travelling in Europe, I would say "I'm nearly on my way to travel Europe! just wait me!!"

for Roland, if you read this, thank you sooooooo much for your postcards and booklets :) I really like it. Too bad I havent booklet like yours, we haven't. but if I find one, I will send to you :)
